USR Cares is looking for volunteers who want to join a local group that serves as a resource for neighbors in need and seniors in Upper Saddle River.

Our heartfelt actions and collaborative focus on making a difference for our neighbors combine to have a meaningful everyday impact for those we serve.
Here are a few of our committees that could use your support and participation:
Our Care and Crisis Committee assists residents facing a crisis by identifying ways that USR Cares can provide financial and non-financial support in times of need. Volunteers with an interest in this aspect of offering support are encouraged to speak with us about different ways to get involved.
Our Seniors Initiatives Committee creates and delivers outreach, events and activities for more than 100 USR senior households through three separate monthly events at the USR library, activities, outings and bi-monthly cheer/wellness visits with seniors at their homes. Volunteers wishing to get involved in any or all of these initiatives are encouraged to reach out to us for more information.
Our Fundraising Committee organizes events throughout the year, including for USR Day 2024 being held at Lions Park in Upper Saddle River on September 28th. Day of event volunteers are needed for the event
Our Marketing and Communications Committee develops and conveys information about USR Cares through various social media outlets and materials. Help with regular communications, website, Facebook and Instagram is needed.
